Dana Oliver is an award-winning journalist, beauty expert, and cultural strategist with experience shaping the fashion and beauty media landscape. She began her career covering New York Fashion Week and has since had an illustrious career spearheading The Huffington Post’s fashion and beauty news as an executive editor, directing brand leadership at StyleSeat as senior director of content and communications, and being appointed beauty director at Yahoo, becoming the first Black woman to hold the role.
Her writing has appeared in ESSENCE, Parents, and other leading publications, and she has also appeared on Good Morning America, The Drew Barrymore Show, and BBC’s World Have Your Say.
Across her editorial work, brand partnerships, and her beauty and self-care platform, Beauty for Breakfast, Dana centers Black women and girls—expanding the narrative around beauty, wellness, and cultural influence.
